Over the years, Festa italiana Hawaii has had the pleasure of welcoming performances by Mango Season, Hawaii Youth Symphony, Ballet Hawaii, Pierre Grill, and more. Performances celebrate both Italian and local culture. Grazie mille - thank you very much - to the talented artists who have all graciously donated their time and talents to bring a truly authentic and unique musical experience to Festa Italiana.

BALLET HAWAII

Established in 1976, Ballet Hawaii is a 501(c)3 nonprofit arts organization. Its mission is to teach, present, promote and produce dance in Hawaii .Ballet Hawaii offers programs, productions and presentations that contribute to the enrichment of the cultural climate in the community and provide the very best in dance for Hawaii. Ballet Hawaii performances have included the full-length productions of Romeo and Juliet, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Alice (In Wonderland), as well as an annual performance of Nutcracker. Hawaii’s finest young dancers have been given the opportunity to dance with guest artists from American Ballet Theatre, Bolshoi Ballet, New York City Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Carolina Ballet, Eugene Ballet, among many others.

‍Hawai’i Opera Theatre enriches the quality of life in our island communities through the inspirational power and joy of opera. Hawai’i Opera Theatre (HOT) believes that different perspectives, cultural histories, life experiences and personal stories enrich the operatic repertoire and have the potential to make meaningful local and worldwide impacts. As a regional company, HOT is committed to supporting and engaging creators and music lovers who reflect the diversity of Hawai’i.


The royal hawaiian band

From its royal beginnings in 1836, the Royal Hawaiian Band has entertained audiences in Hawai‘i and around the world for 180 years. Once known as the “King’s Band,” it was created by King Kamehameha III and became a staple of daily life by performing for state occasions, funerals, and marching in parades. Today, the Royal Hawaiian Band is an agency of the City and County of Honolulu and is the only full-time municipal band in the United States.  The band performs and marches in over 300 concerts and parades each year including: city, state, and military functions; schools, community centers, shopping malls, retirement communities, graduations, and private events. Weekly public performances are held on Fridays at ‘Iolani Palace and Sundays at the Kapi‘olani Park Bandstand.
